Hello. My name is Shih-chi Chiang (蔣世琪). I comes from Taipei, Taiwan. I usually use "Sophie" as my name in business because I know it is not easy for non-Chinese speakers to pronounce my name. So, call me "Sophie". ;-)

I have joined Global Voices' localizatioin team since 2006 (the year that Portnoy founded it). I translated articles in the beginning. But later I found I could not afford so much time in translation (after all, I'm not a professional translator as Leonard), and GV Chinese has much more translators than proofreaders, so I did more in proofreading in recent years.

In my real life, I work as a software developer in Taipei. I also attend TFG Alumni Wind Ensemble (北一女校友交響管樂團) and play the clarinet.
